LCD condition guide

What each LCD grade means

Here is a quick breakdown of each grade. Grading is based on the LCD only; all screens are expected to have broken glass.

Grade	Definition
Grade A	Perfect original screen with no display or shadow issues.
Grade B	Works fine, but has a very light single line or shadow visible on a blue background.
Grade C	Functional, but has medium shadows, such as two lines or a slight Home key shadow on blue.
Grade D	Functional, but has heavy shadows, such as cross shadows, slight keyboard burn-in, or a faint red tint on white.
Grade E	Functional, but has severe shadows or burn-in, including noticeable red tints, visible icons, or strong keyboard marks.
Grade F	The screen displays fine, but the touch feature is unresponsive or broken.
No Touch	LCD displays normally, but the touch function is partially or fully unresponsive.
Damaged Flex	LCD condition is acceptable, but the display flex cable is damaged or faulty.
Small / Big Dot	The screen works and has no shadows, but has a black dot on the edge. Small is under 3mm; Big is 3–5mm.
Full Broken	Completely unusable screen, including lines, liquid leakage, heavy burn-in, many dots, or no display at all.
